From 19–22 November 2025, partners and directors from across the Hall Chadwick network gathered in Auckland, New Zealand, for our annual National Partners Conference.
The event brought together four days of learning, connection, and future-focused conversation. Set against the backdrop of Auckland’s harbour and skyline, this year’s conference explored global change, technology, leadership, and the evolving role of the accounting profession.
Welcome Reception
The conference began with a rooftop cocktail event at the Park Hyatt's Waka Room, sponsored by Lane Neave. With live music by Petra Rijnbeek and views over Auckland’s harbour, the evening provided a relaxed environment for the team to reconnect and set the scene for the program ahead.
Day One: Insight, Strategy and Global Outlook
Thursday opened with a Māori Kapa-Haka welcome before moving into a comprehensive day of economic, geopolitical and technology-focused presentations.
Key discussions included:
- Navigating global change and identifying opportunities in an uncertain environment.
- Understanding the challenges of a fragmented global economy.
- The role of AI in reshaping business, advisory and the accounting profession.
Speakers delivered practical insights as well as big-picture context, encouraging partners to consider both immediate client needs and the longer-term shifts influencing business. 
Day Two: Industry Expertise and Professional Leadership
Friday’s sessions continued the strong momentum, bringing together a diverse mix of industry experience and technical updates.
Highlights included:
- Lessons from the field in asset recovery.
- A power update on audit insurance.
- Leadership and performance stories from international sport.
- Xero’s latest product and industry developments.
- AI, digital assets and the changing global landscape.
- An engaging look at trends in the EV market.
- Discussion on ethics as a foundation for the profession.
- A PrimeGlobal update, connecting our work with global initiatives and opportunities.
The day concluded with the announcement of the 2026 conference location, followed by a farewell dinner at the Origine in Commercial Bay.

Final Day: Waiheke Island
Saturday’s final stop took the team to the stunning Waiheke Island for brunch at Mudbrick Vineyard. Perched above the Hauraki Gulf with sweeping views back to Auckland, Mudbrick offered the ideal space to pause, reflect on the week, and spend quality time together.
With vine-covered slopes, panoramic views and signature Waiheke hospitality, the setting matched the calibre of the week.

The 2025 National Partners Conference highlighted Hall Chadwick’s commitment to staying ahead of global trends, embracing new technologies and continuing to lead with shared expertise across the network. Across four days, the conference balanced strategic insight with practical ideas the teams can take forward, while also strengthening the relationships that underpin our national collaboration.
