Over the past few months, the Hall Chadwick team has been out on campus, connecting with students across Perth and having conversations about what comes next after university. From networking nights to careers fairs and industry expos, recent events at The University of Western Australia and Curtin University have given us the opportunity to meet aspiring professionals, answer their questions and share an inside look at where a career in the industry can lead. With applications for our Summer 2026/2027 Vacation Work Program now open, there has never been a better time to start exploring your next step.
Connecting at UWA
We joined students at the UWA Accounting Association Semester 2 Networking Night for an evening of conversation, networking and industry insights. The event brought students and professionals together through an interactive Q&A and networking session, creating an opportunity to ask questions and hear directly from people working in the profession. Our team spoke with students about everything from career pathways and entering the industry to what they can expect from Vacation Work at Hall Chadwick.
We also attended the UWA Careers Fair, joining a lively event that welcomed more than 1,000 students and organisations from across a wide range of industries. For our team, one of the highlights was introducing students to team members who have experienced the transition from university into the profession themselves. It gave students the opportunity to ask practical questions, hear firsthand experiences and better understand what an internship at Hall Chadwick can offer.
Meeting the Next Generation at Curtin
At the Curtin Accounting & Taxation Expo, the conversations continued. Our team enjoyed meeting students interested in accounting, tax and advisory careers, hearing about their ambitions and answering questions about what working in the industry, and at Hall Chadwick, is really like. Events like these are a valuable opportunity to go beyond job descriptions and graduate brochures. Students can speak directly with our people, learn about different areas of the firm and start discovering the pathways that might suit their interests and strengths.

Each year, around 30 undergraduate students join our team for 2–4 weeks of paid, hands-on experience, working alongside our people across areas including Tax, Audit & Assurance, Consulting and Corporate Advisory. You won't just observe from the sidelines. You'll gain exposure to real work, learn from experienced professionals, build industry connections and get a genuine feel for life at Hall Chadwick.
